A realtor has to play the roles of a proficient salesperson, an expert negotiator, an expert in local market dynamics and trends, a champion marketer proficient in designing pamphlets, Facebook, and email posts, managing a variety of Ad and social media campaigns, an expert of local laws and associated real-estate contracts, and a proficient executive assistant who can organize and schedule various showings, form filling, contract signing activities, with multiple clients while optimizing their schedules and personal lives. These activities are overwhelming for any realtor.

The majority of the real estate agents operate as sole proprietors and have to multiplex between all these roles numerous times a day. As a result, they may need to compromise their personal and sometimes professional commitments. In fact, burnouts are quite common amongst realtors who work alone, as these activities can take over all their personal time, even during weekends and holidays. Furthermore, due to pressure resulting from these various activities, typical realtors underinvest in critical areas such as marketing and brand management in comparison to large teams who can afford dedicated staff for these various roles. Not only is it overwhelming and stressful, but the success of a realtor directly depends on their ability to juggle these diverse sets of roles.

The Realtors Concierge simplifies a realtor’s life by providing a one-stop solution for all of a Realtor’s needs ranging from extended transaction support—CMA preparation, disclosure summarization, offer drafting support, client care, to marketing—encompassing social media posts, Ad campaigns focused on both performance and brand building, website design and maintenance, accounting support, and a suite of Value Added Services for miscellaneous tasks such as finding an inspector for property inspection. Our Value Added Services are domain-expert in real-estate work and hence can operate much more efficiently and effectively with very little guidance. Though some of these services are available from various vendors, finding a price-effective and responsive vendor and training them in the real-estate domain is a challenge in itself. Through our suite of backend services, we empower realtors to compete effectively and efficiently with large real-estate teams that enjoy dedicated backend support for many of these services.

About the Founders

Jatinder Dahuja (Jatin)

Jatin is a Chartered Accountant by education. During his illustrious career spanning 20 years, Jatin has worked as Operations Head, Finance Head, and HR leaders in a diverse set of companies ranging from banks, retail chains, consulting firms, e-commerce enterprises, and large enterprises such as Vishal Megamart (wholly owned subsidiary of Texas Pacific Group) to most recently, at Nicobar, a boutique premium lifestyle retail start-up. During his tenure, he has observed the operational, finance, and compliance-related pain-points and has a ton of experience in scaling businesses and processes to overcome these challenges.

Payal Ramsisaria

Payal, an MBA by education, is a top realtor in the highly competitive California Bay Area Real Estate market. Being a small business owner for the last 10+ years—first as an interior designer and most recently as a realtor over the last 6+ years—Payal has experienced the challenges of operating and scaling a realtor’s business first hand and build solutions that has enabled her to scale her business 50X over the last 5 years. Through Realtor Concierge, Payal intends to bring her tried and tested approaches to the masses.
